About me:

Having grown up in different places all over the USA, I am happy to live in New York City, a place I love. After years of writing for theatre  -- and sometimes acting in plays -- I now focus on fiction.

HILDA'S HOUSE, a novel-in-progress set in rural Maine, won the 2026 Tucson Festival of Books Literary Award in the fiction category for a 5000-word excerpt. Novelist and poet Laila Halaby was the contest judge.

An excerpt from HILDA'S HOUSE will appear in the Winter 2026 online journal Action, Spectacle.

MOOSE XING, an unpublished novel set in the same location as HILDA'S HOUSE, was shortlisted in 2024 for the Regal House Publishing Petrichor Prize.

My fiction writing has received fellowships from The MacDowell Colony, Virginia Center for the Creative Arts, and The Helene Wurlitzer foundation. Plays have received some awards and been produced regionally/off-off-bway.
